Introducing: The Martin Williams Launch Team!

As you probably know (and as I’ve said a gazillion times) authors wouldn’t be anywhere without our readers. The reality is that only one group of people really matters to authors – and that’s YOU, the reader.

So, I figured, why not encourage my readers to be part of my journey? After all, it’s all thanks to you that I get to write in the first place – shouldn’t you get to feel part of that somehow? It’s your encouragement and kind reviews that keep me going, but, until now, I’ve never had a way of keeping tabs on all the wonderful things you’ve been saying about my work – meaning I haven’t been able to thank you personally.

Well, I think I’ve come up with a solution. Starting today, I’m launching the Martin Williams Launch Team… I had toyed with other names (The League of Extraordinary Awesomeness was a close second) but I think this sums up what I’m aiming for. Sign up below to join the Launch Team, and, in return you’ll get:

  • Free advance preview copies of EVERYTHING I release – ebooks and audiobooks (and any other cool formats that come along – virtual reality, maybe?)

This is completely different to being part of my mailing list – you’ll be part of a select group of super-awesome readers. And, in addition to getting free copies of EVERYTHING I release before anyone else, you get to see exactly what impact your support has on the success of my work. In short, think of this as a VIP Membership Scheme.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, there’s only one caveat. Being part of the Launch Team means you’ll be asked to leave a review of the books you receive on Amazon within a certain time period after receiving your copies (usually 1 – 2 weeks). As far as catches go, I’m hoping that’s not too bad!

To summarise, this is what happens:

  1. I send you the e-book for free (for new books you will be the first people to ever read it)
  2. You read it!
  3. About 1 or 2 weeks later I will have a secret free promotion on Amazon, probably for just one day. I will email you a couple of days before, and also on the day of the promotion. On that day if you wouldn’t mind skipping on over to Amazon, downloading a free copy, and leaving a review.
  4. That’s it!
